APPLICATIONS

Applying to Beautiful Dreamer is easy as pie! Just use one of the templates below, fill it out with all the required information and Bob's your uncle. Characters originating from pre-existing works (including OCs) should use the full application, whereas setting native OCs should go with the app labelled for their use. We do not require reserves and do not accept app challenges.

Apps are processed on a rolling basis during app week. If you submitted an app just prior to the cutoff time, you may not hear back on your application until after apps close.


Full Application:
<b><span style="font-size: x-large;">Player</span></b> <b>Name & Pronouns:</b> Tell us your name and what pronouns you'd like us to use. <b>Age:</b> You can just confirm if you're over or under 18 if you don't want to give the exact number. <b>Contact Details:</b> List your preferred contact methods! Even if this is just a personal journal, make sure it's a reliable way to get in contact with you. <b><span style="font-size: x-large;">Canon Info</span></b> <b>Canon Name:</b> What's their name? If they have any important nicknames or aliases, note them here as well. <b>Canon Age:</b> How old is your character? If there's any funny business with their age (clone, time travel, simple confusion about their age), note both ages here. <b>Canon:</b> What canon do they come from? If you're playing from a particular variant of said canon, please note it here. <b>Character Summary:</b> Introduce your character as they appear in canon! This is essentially a combined history & personality section and exists to get everyone up to speed with the character as they originally are. The AU sections should be the meat of the app but be sure to go into a decent amount of detail here as well so we have a point of comparison. <b><span style="font-size: x-large;">AU Info</span></b> <b>AU Name:</b> List the name they go by in the AU. <b>Age:</b> How old is your character? Please note if you're aging them up or down here. <b>Suitability:</b> If your character is under the age of <b>thirteen</b>, please fill out this section outlining why you believe this character is suitable for the game. <b>AU History:</b> Summarize their backstory! You can write this out in full or bullet point it - just make sure you get all the important bits down. <b>AU Personality:</b> Tell us about your character! Let us know them as well as you do. If there are a lot of differences between a character's OU and AU selves, be sure to make note of them. <b>Other AU Changes:</b> Note anything important to your AU that doesn't quite fit into the other sections here! <b><span style="font-size: x-large;">Dreamer Info</span></b> <small>(Remove if not applicable)</small> <b>Dreamer Title:</b> What's the name of your character's Dreamer form? <b>Appearance:</b> I Want To See Every Single Cool Mahou And I Am NOT Kidding. A reference image or quick description is fine! <b>Archetype:</b> If you're playing an Experienced Dreamer, add your Archetype here! Otherwise, just put 'Novice'. <B>Weapon:</b> What type of weapon does your Dreamer use in the Dream Sphere? <b>Power Considerations:</b> This is the exciting bit! List at least <b>four</b> potential <b>D Rank</b> powers for your character to come into the game with. The mods will select one (two, if apping an Experienced Dreamer) at random to serve as your starter power. <B>Signature Power:</b> If your character is an <B>Experienced Dreamer</b>, outline their Signature Power here. <B>RP Sample:</b> Please provide a link to <b>at least one</b> AC length thread (5 comments from you) set within the BD universe. This can be from the TDM or from a meme/psl – as long as it's specifically for this AU! <b>Other Notes:</b> Anything else to add? you can also just put a meme here, i won't judge
