That would be totally fine! Since characters generally become Experienced Dreamers through getting a good understanding of their powers, mentees are typically Novices who aren't quite on the level yet but in Jackie's unique circumstances, the DU would absolutely accommodate them officially. They need the help and that's what the DU is here to do!
