Two main questions: my character in canon has a degree in cognitive science and is involved in researching a parallel world (that is much spookier than the dream sphere). Could a player character be involved in the research branch of DU and how? Would there be options for her to be separate from that and collaborate independently?

Secondly I saw in another answer that Dreamers vanishing into the ds is rare but not unheard of, and I'm wondering if a friend vanishing like that is kosher to use as part of Kozakura's backstory, and if it's possible to do something plot-related with that down the line when I have a more concrete idea of how?
